Rachel Cooper

Spokane Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT)

 

Rachel was born in Maui, Hawaii. She grew up in southeastern Washington and relocated to Spokane in 2000.

​

Rachel graduated from Spokane Community College in 2006 with an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has eleven years of experience working in the areas of criminal defense and family law.

​

In 2021 Rachel was granted a limited license to practice family law by the Washington State Supreme Court. She is currently licensed as a Limited License Legal Technician (Legal Technician or LLLT). This allows Rachel to provide limited legal services in family law matters. Her limited practice areas include legal separation and dissolution, parenting and support, paternity, child support and parenting plan modification, domestic violence protection orders and restraining orders, agreed or default guardianships, and relocation. Although Rachel cannot formerly represent clients in court proceedings, she can advise and assist in many stages of your family law matter as approved by Admission to Practice Rule 28 (APR 28). LLLTs are well trained, experienced, and competent licensed legal professionals.
